Privacy Policy

HypeGameRoom is a free play-money game room, and we keep the data we collect to a minimum. This policy explains what we store, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Email address — only if you choose to create an account. We use passwordless magic-link sign-in, so we never see or store a password.
- Gameplay & settings — your Hype scoreboard, progress, and preferences are stored on your own device (local storage) and, if you sign in, synced to your account.
- Subscription status — if you buy a membership, our payment processor (Square) handles the transaction; we store only which tier you hold and when it renews. We never receive or store your card number.
- Basic technical data — standard, aggregated info like device type and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and improve it.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We don't run real-money gambling, so there are no financial-gaming records. We don't show third-party ad-tracking to members, and we collect no more than we need to run the game room.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate: Supabase for accounts and sync, and Square for optional membership payments. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies & local storage
We use local storage to remember your Hypes, settings, and session. If you sign in, an authentication cookie keeps you logged in. We don't use these for cross-site advertising.
Your choices
You can play entirely without an account. You can clear your local data any time from your browser. If you have an account and want it and its data deleted, email us and we'll take care of it.
Children
HypeGameRoom is intended for adults (18+, or 21+ where required). It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
